Bredding Betta fish

Breeding betta fish is a little hard for your first try cause a number of things can go wronge, like your betta male could be to aggressive to breed like mine, or your female is a young male cause when they are that small it is hard to tell them appart. The only realliable thing to tell if you have a male or a female is a dot under their belly if their is a white dot then it is a female if no dot a male.

Their are many things to consider when breeding betta fish like water quality or preaping them to breed, to do so you have to feed them high quality food like live foods that i have recomminded in another passage betta-info. If something happens and your male is aggressive toward the female you need to take him out and more than likly get a less aggressive male cause it is very hard to breed aggressive betta fish, the female could also be to young to breed, also if you try to breed a aggressive male he might kill the female instead of breeding.
