Betta fsh are easy to keep. The most comon thing for a person to do is to put their betta fish in a small tank. The betta fish needs a tank at least 1.5 gallon.

Female betta fish can be keep in the same tank. But the males can't, they will fight to the death. The females are smaler and a duller color than the males, the males have very bright color and you will know it is a male when you see one.

The best betta food is live masquito lavey or red blood worms, as well as water flees. In the wild they eat a lot of diffrent things a day so i recomind fedding them smaller portions of food but a diffrent type of live food a day.

If your betta fish stars blowing bubbles, he is not sick he is just showing you that he is ready to breed and if he makes a bubble you don't have to breed them cause sometimes he is not wonting to breed he just is showing you he is healthy. Their is a sign for the female betta that she is ready to breed aswell she will get more plumper and you can see the eggs and she will have verticall strips on her body, and that dot on her stomach like i have talled adout before.

You can tell if you feed your betta fish to much if he looks bloted then if he is bloted you need to skeep one or two days of feeding. If you feed him or her live food like blood worms i would recommind at least 2-4.
